I have a old style b&l mount from the 60’s that is tapered like a Sako with 2 mount screw holes 4.200 center to center only markings on it is FB is that for a Finnbear rifle. Any information on it would be appreciate, looking to sell it but need to know what it fits first. Also I have ones for other rifles.
Here's a pic of the 1 piece and 2 piece Quick detach style and the 1 piece "weaver" style B&L mounts.
I have Quick mounts for various rifles and they are all marked with the rifle model.
The trophy model number for a finnbear is 61-76-03
It’s a one piece for the plunger style scope rings. I have H.E. Gibbs catalog but don’t see the FB listed on the chart. It has tapered dovetail grove in it like the Sako’s have & the farther it goes on the tighter it makes the mount, & you would tighten down the 2 screws they made short, medium and long mounts according to the action length on the sako’s
