Sweet. Wish I were in a place to buy this.

Bump for a sweet rifle. Great price - I paid a fair bit more than this for my 1972-vintage Brno #2, and the older ones like this one were better IMO. Tack driving SOB's!
Great rifle

Do you know if they use the same mags as current CZ models?

Yes they will

This is a great deal! These are the predecessor, and just like the CZ 452 trainer, even has the same trigger! So this ought to be every bit as good a shooter as any used CZ 452, selling at prices 60-70% higher (!!)
Tag, for when I get home!

A word of encouragement to anybody dithering over purchasing this great little rifle: they work.

The result of last evening's backyard safari. BRNO #2, Leupold FX-1 Rimfire 4x. One shot to the head at 50 yards, SK standard velocity ammo.

Yeah, but at nearly $200 more money. Besides, like I said the early ones are better guns IMO from what I've seen and handled. If I needed two of them I'd be all over this one for it would clean up into a very presentable rifle I think.
I've had all I can stands and I can't stands it no mo!

I'll take it.

If I wasn’t downsizing to help fund another move, I’d have picked this up days ago. It would go nicely with my 452FS. If Uncle_Alvah changes his mind, let me know and maybe I can pull some strings, so consider this a “seconds please,” though it’s unlikely to be needed haha.
Deal fell through......

Havta keep looking..........
So it’s not sold?

Apparently it was sold to someone without involvement in 24cf before he saw my "I'll take it".
So it sold and if that deal should fall through seller promised me dibs, I keep checking to see if my pm notice is flashing but it's not looking good,
That’s a real bummer.
