WTS a 1961-MCA rifle in .30-06 by Mannlicher-Schoenauer. I bought this off the classifieds in 2010 from a member here, and used it to take several deer in the years following, but it has been a safe queen for the past 10 years.

It is an amazing rifle with the spoon bolt and the rotary 5 shot magazine. It has a 22" barrel, and comes with the very rare factory scope mount for the split receiver. It has a tang safety, and also comes with an older gloss Burris 3-9 scope that looks period correct. The sights have been sweated off by a previous owner, they did not leave any holes as they were both on bands. There is some bluing wear where they were removed.

I know that I am going to regret selling this but I am looking for $1400 on the rifle with original scope mount and Burris scope, Face to Face in South Florida. I will ship with insurance to your FFL for $50. I am not interested in any trades.

Nice rifle !
Very nice
Nice rifle. They were miles ahead of Rem. Winchester Weatherby, all the big names in features.

Who makes a rifle with a bolt safety and a silent thumb safety, a removal rotary magazine, a button on the receiver to strip the cartridges from the

magazine + other features I can't remember?

The original scope mount was made by Redfield. Although, you will have a hard time finding a Redfield mount , there is another source for the same

mount, prolly made a little better than the Redfields.

A fine rifle , I already have several.
