I am getting rid of all my steel barrel rifles and in the future will only buy rifles with carbon wrapped barrels (they are lighter and cool down so much faster) so I am selling this most excellent shooting rifle..It is the Sportsmans version of the Superlite SS and has a black stock. The only mod I made to this this rifle is i installed stainless action screws. This rifle is a sub-moa shooter with multiple handloads and functions slick as butter, it has never been hunted with and will include factory box and papers. what bullet weight where you shooting out of it? Also what is the barrel twist rate? Thanks
Fotis is right, the twist rate is 1:10
Round count on this rifle is very low but i worked up a few loads with 150gr/165gr bullets and H4350 powder and it shoots very accurate with both bullet weights. I have owned 13 of these Tikka T3/T3x rifles in various chamberings (.300 Win, 7mm RM, 30-06) and they have all been very accurate......Thanks Hb
