Gents,

I'm starting to look for another rifle in 6.5x55. I'll say upfront that I'm not looking for collector's items or museum pieces... this is going to end up as a trio of Swedes for each of my kids! You know how even well-behaved kids ding and dent stuff. (I've got 2 Swedes in hand that I'm currently working on, now seeking the third.) If the stock isn't in great shape, that's fine. Metal and bore are main concerns. If it's not C&R, would need to go from FFL to FFL (my guy won't accept from individuals any more).

Please PM me if you have anything appropriate.

Thanks y'all.

the swedes come in 3 lengths; standard long , the m38 medium , and the short m94 models , their are others but this is basic
Are you looking for any particular version I have done this for my kids one in military wood and one sporteized for each of them

How about a G33/50 carbine?
This is a picture from a Guns International posting. Mine has a butter knife bolt, no checkering, hasn't been D&T.

If you're interested, I'll dig it out of the safe and take pictures of it for you.

Not super picky yet. Feeling out options.

I've got one sitting in a local shop (M96 with a shortened barrel in a sporter stock, D&T for scope) I could ship out for about $475. I have one worth a little less that is my go-to snotty weather whitetail gun, another in sniper config with Ajax scope and also a rare date collector.

I've got a Tikka T3 Swede with a perfect beautiful wood stock under it out on consignment right now. I've shot it about 50 -60 times and in factory Hdy SST's & SB 's it shoots teeny tiny groups as long as my Blood Pressure is not acting up - I take 3 or 4 meds for BP issues every day and another set of pills for Shingles that I have been fighting since last March trying to get to where I can get the spine shots started.

We are scurrying around right now today for a trip out of town tomorrow at Dawn 30 and will be back early next week. The Dealer where the Tikka is is another county about 2 hours away.

Lemme know tonite if you want me to go to the dealer next week and take some pics for you, and I 'll try and swing by the dealer on the way home

Can't take a picture with outdoor lighting at the moment, so this is the best I can currently do as far as pictures:

Saw that. And for what it's going to sell for, the first time one of the kids put a ding in it, I'd probably start crying!

OK, the Tikka 6.5 Swede is at my dealer, and is on a Consignment Contract. If interested call or contact: "Back 40 Firearms Co." 903-681-1315 in Athens, Texas.
Back 40 is noted for building Custom Rifles, LTC classes and is a Class III dealer. ...and not your typical East Texas garage operation and located at 112 North Palestine St 75751 on the east side of Courthouse Square

They can also be reached @ www.Back40 firearms co.com & Back 40 firearms @yahoo.com

The rifle has had about 50 rounds of factory ammo shot thru it by me, and held a 1/2" group @ 100 yards with Hdy SST's, and is in perfect condition, Talk to Ben if possible.

I have a Carl Gustaf ser # 41,xxx that's been built into a very nice Mannlicher with beautiful wood and bluing is excellent. It shoots factory S&B 139gr ammo less than 1" at 100yds.

Great rifle but I have way too many swedes. Will sell for what I paid...$750 plus $50 ship.

I’ve got one of the Model 96’s sporterized by Kimber back in the day when they were still in Oregon. It’s in the silver parkerized finish. It shoots pretty darn good. I’m considering letting it go. Asking $450

There is a really nice Remington Classic 6.5x55 for sale at Perry County Arms on Guns International. Don't see them often.
