Up for sale is a Stainless Steel Remington 700 ADL that has been trued up and cerakoted. It has a McMillan KS stock, #4 Lilja barrel, Sako Extractor, tuned factory trigger, Leuopold VX2 2-7x33 with aluma caps and turret. The gun is perfect with about 100 rounds down the tube, it likes several loads all shooting within 1/2". It weighs 7lbs. 13 oz. on my scale with scope. Zero dissapointments, it's a beauty.
Long story made short...I bought this from my best hunting buddy last fall to rebarrel to a 28 Nosler but I can't bear the thought of breaking down a great shooter...if you have questions, please pm me. The gun was just at Dan Coffin's shop (an extraordinary gunsmith in the Bitterrroot Valley) and he said it doesn't even look as if it has been shot. If you'd like more pictures please ask.
Additionally I've got about 180 pcs of used brass, dies and several different types of 225 grain bullets.

Dan rebarrelled to the 35 and did the paint job on the stock. Bruce Scott (whom I believed retired, from Lolo, MT) did the initial trueing of the bolt and receiver. It shoots great with several different loads, I just had it down to Dan in the last week and he claimed it doesn't even look like it's been shot. Oh and Dan did the cerakote (which is perfect).

All the fancy new calibers and fun, but the Whelen is an elk hammer.
