Rem 700 35 whelen factory chambering (not a rebore), 1989 from the barrel code.
-20" barrel, threaded 9/16x24 for a suppressor or brake.
-Manners EH-3 carbon fiber stock.
-5+1 PTG canoe style bottom metal (BDL, holds 5 down easily)
-Timney trigger
-M16 extractor and dual ejectors installed by LRI. Bolt nose/face also trued. Ejects to the side, rather than toward the scope turrets.
-Bolt Handle retimed and tig welded by LRI.
-Black cerokote done by LRI
-Scope bases I think are Burris.
-Iron sights were kept and relocated when the barrel was cut down.
-6 lbs 11 oz as shown.

Excellent factory barrel, bore in excellent shape. It's about as accurate as some of my custom rifles. 61.5gr of TAC under a 225 SGK gets 1/4 moa for three shots. 65.5gr MR-2000 under a 250 Speer gets 1/3 moa. Same load under 250 partitions gets 1/4 moa. Most factory loads are well under 1 moa and generally in the 1/2-3/4 moa range.

LOP is 13" over a 1" decelerator. If you want a longer LOP, cut off the existing rubber with a utility knife, then use the existing pad base to epoxy a new pad on. It's faster than fitting a pad to a wood stock and the existing recoil pad base gives a big bonding surface. And you won't touch the paint.

I could part this this thing out, drop it into the original wood stock, and get more that way, but I'm lazy and this is a nice rifle as is.

$1200 shipped. Have $2 grand into it, but that’s my own fault.

I've since built some other Whelens and need to make room in the safe.

That's an awesome setup/deal at a great price!

IF I didn't have an M7 in .350RM set up the same way already I'd be all over that.
I’ll take this. Pm to TX35W
SPF to ColtZ71
Hell of a deal here. Good buy.
Maybe we will be lucky enough to have the opportunity at ColtZ71’s collection up for sale with this one in the mix.

I would like to call seconds on this if sale falls through.
Awesome deal throw me down for thirds!
Sweet rig.
Apparently I should have checked the forum earlier today. Good snag.

Yeah, sucks don’t it? Good guy got it though.

My Dad told me once that I couldn’t buy all the guns, still don’t believe him.
