Beautiful, rare New Haven model 70, stainless classic with WALNUT stock. 6 digit serial number. Rich, dark wood.
Rings and bases included.
Excellent condition. Great trigger pull.
One small ding in stock on right side, in front of bolt handle. No other flaws that I can see.
I have not fired it, no idea on round count etc.

$995 to lower 48. Created an image gallery elsewhere on this site. Not sure how to attach it here.

Can email or text larger pics. Image gallery only allows up to 2mb, if I recall correctly.

Very nice and should not last long at this price.

Two questions which will invariably come up are first three of serial number, and whether that stock or pad was replaced at any point.

If it makes it that long … grin
Sounds like a nice rifle. Pics would be really cool. Guys that sell stuff here should have a different way to post pics other than the one Rick provides. IMGUR works really well and it is FREE.. You know someone is going to ask this, but what digit is this classic? How long have you owned it?

Not just the first 3, but how many digits.. 5,6, or 7.
Wow. That’s a dandy. Man…. I’m getting flush with 7’s but this is a score.

Thinking the same. Love to have another one, but probably won’t ever hunt with it. Someone snatch this baby up.

You know from the pictures it’s not a 7. And the first three (first two, actually) will tell you where in 5 or 6 it falls. smile
6 digit

Not posting anymore pics without a commission laugh
A lot more rifle than those 700 classics that dudes are arguing over in the classifieds lol. This shouldn’t last long at all.
I’ll take this
Great. Send me a pm and we can work it out.

Guess I could have priced it higher…. LOL
I'll take it if indygncc doesnt.

The writing on the left side of the action under Winchester changed roughly the time of the 7 digit.
I’ll post some pics.

There was no pictures when I asked the question.. AK was on it pretty fast though and posted them as I was writing out my question.. With a rifle like this, it could have also been restocked or something, so pics are pretty necessary.
Deal of the day!
