In need of a set of Rem Model 7 action screws, stainless or blued.

PM me please.

Thanks,

Don
If no one jumps in Brownell's has long Allen Head screws that need to be fit/shortened:

It's the route I just took.

I bought a couple from Gun parts Corp, but they were blued and slotted type.

Thank you Sir, I’ll keep that in mind as a last resort.
Bump
Are the model7 screws different then a model 700? I have several sets of take off 700 screws as well as some old Forester brand screws.
I think the front screw is the same. The rear screw is different, at least on my model Sevens. miles
Yeah, the rear screw is much smaller in diameter and much longer.

Yup, it's the rear screw, that is a PITA to find, and the head is easily damaged or it breaks if you over torque it.

Been there, done that.
Me too! 😁
Me too... Poor design on Remington's part. Hard to find, Remington small parts for a lot of their guns is tough to find.

Yeah, but then bottom metal needs to be drilled out and on this one there’s not a lot of meat in that area of the stock to accommodate the larger diameter screw.
The rear are 8-36, the same as the front trigger guard screw on the 700 ADL - pm me if you still need - habe both SS & blue.

You are correct except the trigger guard screws are shorter. Too short in my model sevens. miles
