Ruger 1A 35 Whelen in very good condition. There are some impressions in the butt stock and scratches/nicks on the recoil pad. The only metal wear I see is under the safety and only visible in the fire position. I've tried to include detailed photos of all the flaws. The filler in the knot at the toe was like that from the factory. Factory box and low, lightly lapped, rings included. Round count is a little under 150. $1550 shipped FFL to FFL in 48. How does it shoot with the loads u tried?

3 shot groups generally went from .75" to just over an inch at 100 with my 225 AB load.

Being a No. 1A it has a 22” light sporter barrel, pretty lightweight rifle. It’s one of the more desirable No. 1’s out there, right behind the identical stainless model. Mine loves 200 grain ttsx’s and is almost a one holer.

Mine will regularly put three into the same hole. First time I thought the second and third shots missed the target until I did it again. Nice rifles.
