That’s a beauty for sure 160!! I have a 222 but it’s the “corn cob” forend…….used to have a .223 five diamond but another guy wanted it more than I did.

Good luck they are fun rifles - used to use mine to hunt turkeys with in PA until the game commission took it away for law abiding citizens😁

I have an extra .244 in 5 diamond and a .223 standard i would consider selling.

I am also looking for a 5 diamond .222 the first one i saw for sale sold a few weeks ago at an auction that i ended up being late to due to flight delays. It sold for 2500.

Remington didnt make a .223 760 in 5 diamond. They were only in standard except for 1968 adl known as the fleur-de-lis checkering. If you had one in 5 diamond someone switched the stocks.

Well that is good to know - learn something new everyday - it may not have been 5-diamond but it did have checkering and not the standard forend - of course someone still could have changed stocks?

Im new here and havent figured photos out yet. The corncob or tootsie roll stock is what was considered a-lo. Standard has checkering similar in style as the 5 diamond it just was not in the shape of 5 diamonds.

Yes the top one would be 223 with standard checkering. The bottom one would be the .222.
