I just got this via email.
Has anyone handled and shot the new ones? How did they like them?
Already showing out of stock. Would have been a terrific deal. A local store had one of these factory blems advertised, the horribly disfiguring blemish was a small scuff mark around the rear sight roll pin.
I think that'd be worth 400 bucks off...
I came very close to pulling the trigger when I got the email.
4.25 in stock and added now.. move fast
I can't abide QR codes laser engraved on firearms...
Tried to order 1 but now they are gone.

4.25" or 6"?
I can add another 4.25" to my cart but I really don't need two of them.
I wish they had the 4" Anaconda for that deal.
Dinny thanks I went back and did again and it went thru.
The first time the price was 1499.00 in my cart.

Nice!
I had looked and handled one last week.
I've always wanted one but just couln't do it. Tonight I said the heck with it for that price I couldn't resist.
Thanks for the heads up guys! I put one in my cart, but couldn’t pull the trigger. I’m not really in the market, but this almost put me there.
"looks sadly at his bank account that can't afford it right now"
I think it said FU!
Let me add 22 to my cart but said quantity not available at 23. So appears they have at 22 left as of now.
My local gun shop had one of the new Pythons for $1249 a few weeks ago. Happily I am not a Colt fan or my visit might have been even more expensive than it was.

Not even Colt SAA?
C'mon, man, every handgunner needs a Colt SAA in their stable.
To be fair, every handgunner should have a Colt Snake gun in their arsenal too.
18 left. Anyone have any valid PSA discount codes to share?
I passed as I prefer to buy a proper Smith of old for the same price.
those rear sights suck anyhow, so loosy goosy. Poor design
I bought a 4.25". I figure if I don't like it, I should be able to make or buck or two or worse case, break even on it. I have not handled the new ones.

I don't receive their emails, but I would have been tempted myself.
Mine arrived today and I see nothing wrong with it. I've had plenty of new guns with fit and finish issues that were not sold as blemished. If you want a new Python, below wholesale by the way, this is a deal.

Good deal!
I passed.
For those bucks, you can get this.
Mine is at my dealers. I'll pick it up tomorrow and report.
Oicked up my blem today. I can't find the blem?

I'm not surprised. I've bought blem bullets, brass, and AR parts for years. Only one time did I ever see a possible blem. They're not marked so it's hard to tell what they saw.

The Buck Knife factory is not far from me and offers an excellent tour. At the end of the tour they offer various knives to include blems. I bought one of their Skinner's for no other reason than I have always wanted one and it was priced right. They handed it to me and there was a small "pointer" sticker pointing to the apparent blem. I could not see it and am fiddling with the knife as I type and still have not found it.
The action on mine is very smooth. I will shoot it in the next few days.
Tried to like these but handle an actual true old colt and compare the actions you'll be extremely disappointed, they're on par with being a polished up modern s&w and we know how their qc is anymore.
I remember reading when these came out how they were bragging about how they were able to make the action cheaper which made it cost them less to make sacrificing the action feel.what a great selling point LOL.
I can’t warm up to them either
I love my old ones, but don't really want to carry them anymore just because of what the prices have done. So, I bought the first 3 inch I found. Wish I would have waited. But, at the end of the day, the new ones are definitely not the same, but they're still a nice gun, and now I have one ill carry and enjoy. My brother just got his 3 inch blew, and I tried to get a 4, but they were gone. He can't find his blem either.
I just ordered one of the 3" versions. Good price on this, will see what it looks like soon..
