I do not know what this is but if you have a use for I will send it for the price of postage - $5.00

It fits a .473 rim diameter - possibly to hold a case while swaging or removing the primer pockets ????

It might be for taking out crimped in primers with a punch and hammer.

It’s for swaging primer pockets, missing the center punch… I have one just like it that I’ve been using for 40 years

Thanks for the replies. I have had it around so long that I don't remember how I acquired it and I don't remember ever using it.

Surely someone must have a need for it, I hate to just trash it.

It's a priming tool for a Lyman 310 tool They're very handy.

This is what they look like when they're installed: https://www.africahunting.com/attachments/dsc_1346-jpg.386537/

Yes, they will throw it in a pile of other stuff and eventually someone will buy it from them. They will price it for .50 cents or so. It will be better than throwing it in the trash, and they give all of their earnings to local needy causes.

Is that the same as a peterfor, as in “what’s the difference between a parrot and a peterfor?”
