Talo Exclusive Ruger 5028 Redhawk Kodiak Backpacker, 2.75” 44 magnum. I believe these were a fairly limited run. What a great little powerhouse. Cheap, factory American Eagle 240gr ammo clocked over 1250 FPS from my chronograph so you’re not giving up much velocity with the short barrel. I’d image you could wring out a bit more via premium ammo or hand loading. Its heft does a great job soaking up recoil as well. I hate to let this revolver go, but I need the money elsewhere. This revolver has been fired very little and is in excellent condition with maybe a few very slight handling marks. It has a great factory fit and finish and I’m generally very critical. It has the Hogue Bantam grip installed but will also include the factory laminate grips and factory box. Asking $1430 shipped from my FFL to yours in the lower 48. Payment by USPS money order only. Yeah, I think there was only one run of them about 10 years ago. Pains me to sell, but I was hit with several expenses and it’s hard to justify “needing” this bad boy in northern PA.
