I have a limited number (-50) of these fantastic rifles.
These are 100% NIB, threaded barrels, 20 MOA rail and factory hard case shipped with sling swivels.
These are SBS actions also marked as the Prohunter action in the US. These are traditionally marked CLii on the continent. They are all 100% identical except the marking on the side. In fact we have gotten a few with the CLii markings.

https://steyr-arms.us/steyr-pro-hunter-iii/

I have 243, 7-08, 308 (20") and 300WM(25")

$800 Shipped CONUS pmo, CC +4%

A side note, I also have 4 7-08 black original stocked mountain rifles with the very light 20" barrels and stock with spacers. These are all threaded and have round bolt knobs, black bodied bolts. Same price as above.
Any one buying either one of these rifle can also purchase a NIB scout 308 or 223 for $1200.

PM me.
Your first link shows six different rifles all with sights with no description of a steyr "mountain" rifle model

Your second link doesn't indicate that these are "mountain" rifles as well as indicates to choose a color but your add above doesn't indicate a color.

Your third link is to another retailer's website with a description of a heavy barrel life.

Looks like you are offering a good price but a link to the specific model on the steyr website would be very helpful or a better description of where these rifles are on the various links - such as it's this model without sights in this color.

Can you post a picture of the actual rifle that we would be purchasing? Very interested just would like to see what it looks like.
Posted By: ringworm Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/10/24
They are all green with black grip and forend as shown in pics.
The "mountain" derivation indicates 20" barrels.
These are straight from Steyr USA.
Hope this helps...

Does a check --with wait to clear-- work for payment?

Thanks,

How do I buy one?
Any left hand?
Posted By: ruraldoc Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/10/24
Can I talk to you by phone and order the rifle over the phone? I tried to send you a PM but it didn't go through.
Posted By: JWL3 Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/10/24
PSA was running them for $649 last week (~$720 out the door) to AL.

If you don't want to deal with them, this is also a good deal.
Posted By: ruraldoc Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/10/24
Ringworm,

You apparently have me on ignore. Not sure why? Maybe a mistake? Let me know if you want to procede.
Posted By: ringworm Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/10/24
no left hands

"them"
being the 15 they purchased as a lost leader in 2 calibers.

additionally, you may not know this... but, I'm not a multi million dollar corporation. I run a small brick and mortar gun store. no a serialized warehouse.
so, yes. My single 1200 sq ft shop is getting beat by PSA by $80.

Do you know the barrel twist rates on these? I looked online but can’t find it listed. Seems like a lot of gun for the $

I saw that the black parts of the stock are polymer, are they rubberized?
Posted By: Ken_L Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/11/24
I’m thinking about one in a 7mm-08 and then a scout in a 308!
Posted By: ringworm Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/12/24
Keep thinking, Ken and they will be gone.
The black is rubberized.
234 1;10
7-08 1;12
308 1;12

Last year my full time guy shot the mile with a factory THB 26" and factory 185 federal juggernauts.
He hit the big target on the second shot, moved to the MOA target a proceeded to hit it 6 times consecutively.

The barrels are on par with the best of custom rifles out there, I assure you.

I've never heard of 1-12 twist for 7-08, can we confirm that? I assume 300WM is 1-10".
Posted By: ringworm Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/13/24
Sorry it's actually 1: 8.6" on the 7-08
Posted By: OSU_Sig Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/13/24
These Steyr rifles are outstanding and the seller is top shelf. Buy with confidence.
Posted By: spence1875 Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/13/24
1 in 8.5 would be better. Just saying. Lol
Posted By: Onpoint Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/13/24
So what do you have left. You said you had 4 - 7-08 in 20"
Posted By: wyattd Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/13/24
Barrel threads are listed as 1/2 x 20. Is this correct? I've seen 1/2 x 28 and I have my first suppressor on the way and am set up for that. I'm interested.

Some quick research shows I may have to run an adapter.
Posted By: ringworm Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/13/24
I have 1/2 x 20 adapters in stock.
Busy day yesterday. Long weekend ahead.
Commitments are filled for those who have already sent ffls, payments.
I will post a "what's left" later on this morning when I get to the shop.
Thanks all.
Just to add...I have a very very nice SM12 half stock 20" 308 with set trigger, no sights. I hand picked the wood for it.
I'll do $2990 with purchase of a SX.
stunning rifle. Set trigger is 5 ounces.
Posted By: wyattd Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/13/24
One more question.... Do these have the set trigger function? And I'm interested in a 243.
Posted By: ringworm Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/13/24
not set triggers.

I will take a .7mm-08
Posted By: ringworm Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/17/24
For everyone that has either spoken to me or my guy at the shop or received a PM with payment instructions . Your rifles are set and ready to ship upon receipt of payment/ ffl.
All those on the fence or who haven't received such info at this time...We are ensuring that we have ample remaining rifles. Of course there will always be those who never complete the transaction or get hair lipped by the missus when they go to ask for money.
If we have enough to keep the store stocked and offer more I will update here and post a second wave Steyr Specials II post.
Posted By: ruraldoc Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/31/24
Just recieved two Steyr 308s from Ringworm. Great guy to deal with, highly recommend.

P.S.

Posted By: spence1875 Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/31/24
I have 308 20 " and a 9.3x62 coming from him, looking forward to playing scope swap and sighting them in.
Posted By: ringworm Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/31/24
thanks guys.
I'm going to post some more SA tomorrow and next week some new rifles that aren't cataloged yet .

You sir, are an enabler. 🙂
Posted By: JWL3 Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 01/31/24
Are the short actions you have also pro hunter 3’s?
Posted By: ringworm Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 02/01/24
They are marked ii but have an SX stock.
I wouldn't get wrapped up on what they are called. Steyr isn't very specific. They are SBS actions in the newest stock. They only current other choice would be SM12 actions, same stock.

Next specials will be unseen in the US. I get first release.

Not wrapped up, just curious. Got a 7-08 from Palmetto last week and it’s stamped as a ii but is as you describe with the SX stock and is already showing to be silly accurate with factory loads. These are great rifles at a great price.
Posted By: ringworm Re: STEYR RIFLES SPECIALS - 02/01/24
I have a few more SX's in 243, 308 and 300WM at $800

30-06 and 270s are more money, I paid a lot more for them and the are marked iii, box's are marked CLII.

I also have a handful of 16" Heavy Barrel THB suppressor ready rifles in the green OD vented stocks. Those are fantastic in a blind or as a urban sniper rifle. I think I have 5 left from an order of 80+. $900 on those. Basicly this rifle in green with a shorter barrel...
