- Year of manufacture?
- Who did the paint job?
- Is everything else original?

year of manufacture is 2001, i bought it used several years ago and had the lop changed, brake added and stock repainted somewhere around 2014. Will added the brake and Bill painted it when they still worked at melvins shop.

Good people, great product. GLWS. I'm trying to get my buddy up north to buy this one!
i cant say for sure but i think Melvin actually adds on to the stock with what the stock was made of when adding to the lop
thanks for the kind words fellas
Very nice, like the paint job!
Melvin lengthened and shortened lop via pad thickness. The pads are glued and not screwed on. Hope that helps. Gary U
If I didn't already have an Ultra Light Arms Model 24 .30-06 would be seriously considering this--partly because mine is pretty much the same rifle, except for the threaded muzzle.
Got mine in 1997, with a 24" #2 Douglas barrel, and it's take more big game than any of my other rifles in several parts of North America, Africa and New Zealand. After 1000+ rounds it still groups three shots with several loads into around 1/2" at 100 yards....
Bump for a great seller. These are awesome rifles and Tim is great to deal with.
lets get someone to say those magic words, $3975 shipped ffl to ffl
My first ULA I got from Melvin I ordered it in 300WSM.......I'd MUCH rather it was in 30-06. Someone is going to get a great gun here.
would possibly consider a ula m20s in 223 on trade
if it makes it through the weekend it stays and gets pushed to the back of the safe
I may be incorrect, but don’t believe Melvin is making any more of these……
You're not incorrect. Melvin sold the company to Bill Wilson (Wilson Combat) a couple years ago. Bill's making a very good but somewhat different version of the NULA.
The original Melvin rifles tend to go for a little more, even when used.
Thread pitch on the muzzle?

Sorry, John, that was my poor attempt at humor and why I think this rifle is well worth the asking price.
Thanks.
Passing info along to interested party.
off the market, no longer for sale
back up for sale $3700 shipped
open to offers, only possible trade interest would be short action non Wilson combat ula/nulas
Can’t believe it’s still not spoken for! Nothing like a ULA- made by a master! If I did not have one I would be all over this- this is what they cost to build in 2021….
When Wilson bought NUL they sure dropped the price!! Hard to sell a NUL at Melvin's old price!
find me a wilson nula 30-06.....ill wait....
Go to the Wilson web site and they are there!
m20 short actions are all i see listed no long action
I feel like everything is hard to sell right now…for various reasons. Bump for a great gun and a better seller!!
Go to the Wilson web site and they are there!
No, they aren’t.
Back up for a great guy.

While I’m sure the Wilson Arms rifles are a fine mass production rifle, they’re clearly not the same as those Melvin built.

I agree. Everything is tough to sell now. I've got a guitar listed and am getting nothing but low-ball offers.

They are not making any LA rifles. I have never understood why people post comments like this on someone's post.

Because they are idiots and the number of idiots is growing.
Grandpa used to say, "There are more horses asses than horses!"

Bump for a real Melvin rifle!
with the overwhelming lack of interest, this one is going to the back of the safe, thanks for looking,
