Rifle began as a 22 Hornet but some where along the line it became a 218 Bee/Exp. Bore is excellent bright and shiny. Adorning this rifle is a 10X Unertil. Asking $1900 shipped, AK and HI extra. No trades or electronic payment.

What a neat old gun.

Yes dies come with rifle and one fired piece of brass.
I have interest in just the optic, I'm willing to split it up if I find somebody that wants the rifle with no optics.

Normally this place turns into a feeding frenzy when highly-prized Pre 64s are posted. Something seems amiss.
What the hell’s with an after market recoil
Pad on a hornet?

For those who are into it, the stock is just about perfectly quarter sawn. All of the grain "cathedrals" perfectly centered on the bottom of the butt stock. Cool rifle. GLWYS !

The Caliber change and Barrel stampings makes it a shooter only... Model 70 Collectors just kinda cry inside .

I have the exact same vintage in an '06.

Beautiful rifle.

What's a 218bee exp. ?

I have a 218bee. Is it some sort of improved version ?
218 bee is same as 218 exp as far as I know.
Interesting. Does it feed from the magazine or is pretty much a single shot with the difference in cartridge size?

Not a whole bunch of difference in cartridge size.
Feeds from magazine.
