Beautiful condition Remington 721 in 300 H&H magnum, built in 1953, pad replaced,otherwise original. Only noticeable blueing wear is in floor plate. Bore is shiny, looks excellant !

The 721 300 H&H's originally had a recoil pad.

I had to change mine also.

Right, these came with a pad. They seem to get hard after 71 years .! As opposed to other things !

I love mine so much that I squirreled an extra bolt away for it just in case.
