For sale is a very nice, lightly used 1941 Winchester 64 in .30 WCF. It has the usual 24 inch barrel. The metal and wood are in excellent condition with very light use marks and a little edge wear and speckling on the receiver. At some point, a tiny compass was embedded on the left side of the stock. $1275 shipped and insured from me (not an ffl) to your ffl in the lower 47. Add $35 if it must be shipped from an ffl. Additional pictures can be sent by text.

Tag - Can't make out for certain. Is the tiny compass still present and imbedded in the stock?

Yes, the compass is still in the stock. It is tough to see but it shows best in the second pic.

Pretty nice old rifle.

It is a nice, nearly original, Winchester 64.

Don't you hate Marble's for selling those little compasses that were inletted into so many rifle stocks back then?

For some reason, those inletted compasses seem to have been much more popular east of the Mississippi River than west of it.

That little compass is so small it is essentially useless. I'd hate to be lost in the deep woods and have to rely on that thing!
It is a very nice rifle! I shot my first buck 53 years ago with my Dad's model 64 .32 special, which my brother still has. This one is in much better condition!
