Better known as Iger. Iger is a blend of some of the top bloodlines in Germany and America. Iger has the genetics to adjust to the conditions of the hunt, whether on the plains of the mid -west or in the dense forests of New England. His strong pointing instinct and cooperation have been passed down through many generations. Iger is often found sharing his water passion with his owner and trainer, Suzi Moore, in the hometown salt marshes and bays filled with waterfowl. His attitude is to please whatever job he is presented.

Iger recently achieved the prestigious title of Versatile Champion in the NAVHDA testing system, following in his mother’s footsteps. In his Zuchtschau he was awarded a V1 and described as a noble masculine male with correct angulation, top and bottom lines, depth of chest and movement. He comes from a litter that has been awarded Breeder Awards in the NADKC Derby, Solms, NAVHDA Natural Ability, Utility and Invitational.

Just wanted to provide some additional information on DK vs GSP. The DK is the German Shorthair of Germany.  The NADKC club here in the US  supports the  goals of the parent German Clubs:  to promote and improve the Deutsch Kurzhaar (German Shorthair) in accordance with the principles originated by the DKV; to provide cooperative, trainable Deutsch Kurzhaars for the foot-hunter, developed through breeding programs as set forth by the DKV. Approval(s) for breeding are required through a series of testing venues where the dogs are  evaluated for all hunting qualities,(field work, and retrieving abilities on both land and water.) They are also evaluated on  temperament and conformation.  They must pass all requirements to be able to be qualified for breeding, if not they are not eligible to be bred within the system. Both parents of this breeding have met and exceeded all of the requirements set forth by the parent club in Germany. The sire to this litter resides in Massachusetts. He is hunted there and Maine on grouse and woodcock as well as ducks. The female is an accomplished grouse and woodcock hunter hitting the North woods of Maine each season, as well as upland hunting and the duck and goose blinds in NJ and PA. If anyone is interested in learning more about the DK and the NADKC please feel free to shoot me a PM or ask on here. More pics are available but I’m having a tough time posting them here. Please PM phone number or email address for more pics.
