may help.
It's about a 2.5 year wait to get one. Plus they are about as good as a working knife gets.
Got it!!!!! Thanks to all. Lewis that was very telling.
I hate to be tried as a heretic, but the absolute best and fastest system that I have used is this one from Smith's. http://www.knifeoutlet.com/shop/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=AC129
The carbide sharpener put a half decent edge on abused knife edges, and the diamond stone brings that to shaving sharp in a very short time. This is the first time I've ever used ceramic sticks, and I can't believe the polish it puts on a knife blade! I've used and have high dollar stone systems and finish with a hard Arkansas and also have a full Lansky system in the drawer. I've not tried the Edge Pro, but I figured I couldn't pass this up for $20 at Cabela's. I also have a Wyoming stone in the drawer that I use for polishing triggers, and this surpasses even that for the fine polish on a blade. I use it on all my knives and it brings even my hard Buck blades and D2 Benchgrade knives back very quickly.

What does a sharpener have to do with a custom made Ingram knife?
I'll stay with Mckroskey knives out of Oklahoma, custom made to your hand and free sharpening for life, just as good looking and half the cost.
CAS is (was) trying to sell a knife. Why piss on his thread? You may want to post your opinion for discussion in the knife forum and not in the classifieds. My 2 cents worth.
I've wielded and finger [bleep] many a knife over the years, and have found Gene's offerings to be the best working knife for the price, quality, and impeccable workmanship currently on the market.
For your info Sir,I was not pissing on his thread I was refering to all the long waits and extreme high cost of Ingram knives,Charley just cerakoted a rifle for me I consider him a friend and a HELL of a craftsman.Your 2 cents worth SUCKS BIG TIME.
Woah guys!

Crittergetter is good to go, just as I suspect Sakoluvr is. No need to get all riled up over nothing.

Can't we all just get along smile

Disregard. Went back and re-read the thread and found where it jumped the rail.
I apologize,Charley if I interferred with your thread,I'm really looking forward to getting my rifle Friday, the pictures looked GREAT.Doc's Gunshop here in Carrolton is looking forward to seeing it also, the man he had coating his rifles retired.I hope to send more business your way. Thanks Donald Bettcher

I'll send you another rifle to coat in 2 weeks.
....
Not you FOS,THAT WAS FOR SAKOLUVR.I apologize if I've in any way offended you.
Donald, you didn't.

I was just sitting here scratching my head and wondering wtf.... until I went back and re-read and saw what started the commotion!

CAS,

You have good taste in knives!
Wow, I had two windows open at once and posted in the wrong thread! Sorry guys, ignore my ignorance.
