Sold Pending Funds I've got a Randall Made Knife that I need to sell. This a Model 25-5 with a carbon steel blade. This knife currently catalogs for $400 (with a 5 year wait) and is one of their most popular models. The sheath and the knife show no use/carry/sharpening. The brass hilt shows just a slight indication of coming in and out of the sheath. The side of the blade with the name stamp has some weird streaking/blotching in the metal that had to be there when it left the factory (not rusting or tarnishing). It appears to be "in" the metal. All I know is that you can't really see it in the pics, but at the right angle, it is there. The other side is perfect. Because of the "streaking", or whatever you want to call it, my price on this one is in the "user" range (for a Randall). $420 shipped.

UPDATE: I just talked with someone at the Randall factory. I told him about the streaking. He asked if it was a carbon steel blade. I said yes. He said the "staining" is completely normal, and he would not suggest trying to remove it (although he noted it could be removed with steel wool and WD40). He likened it to the protective characteristics of gun bluing, and it is a normal process it carbon steel blades.

I accept money orders/cashiers checks and paypal (add 4%). Shipping will be via USPS Priority and fully insured.
