just a thought,if it was made in 1890 an FFL isnt required. 1898 was the cutoff I believe.

No, I have never fired it...taking it to the FW Gun Show this weekend so we'll see if it's still available on Mon.

Interesting. Inherited one of these from my dad and of course it isn't for sale for any amount of money but this has me thinking about having it restored. It's original and would sure look nice if it was redone like this one was. This is really nice. Cool old rifles.. Wish I had the money to put into it. Sure be nice to own.
