Borden Alpine Short Action - LIKE NEW
RH, Single Shot, 308 bolt face, upgrades: Campfield Bolt Knob (paid $85) and
Holland competition recoil lug included.
No safety cut out (you can use a trigger with bottom safety).
~ This one has the original closed design Aluminum bolt shroud that covers the back of the firing pin which is no longer offered. Current Alpine actions use an open shroud similar to the Remington style with the open back.

The Alpine actions are extremely smooth and the timing is awesome!! try one for yourself to feel the difference.

$ 850.00 shipped to your FFL. (FFL dealer must be able to receive from private party). No 6 month lead time, this one is available now with the original design bolt shroud. Sorry not interested in any trades. I just finished building a 6mmAI and shot 20 rounds through it but I just got into sporting clay shooting and need to sell to fund a purchase of a browning cynergy shotgun. Some pictures still show the action with the barrel still attached.

Beautiful action with lots of key features:
~ Bolt lugs are longer for greater strength.
~ Firing pin diameter and fit is also tighter than the factory Remington.

Why no safety cutout ?
Posted By: nitro888 Re: Borden Alpine Action - 06/15/10
I opted for no safety cutout because it was a single shot action.

You can use a trigger with a bottom safety.
