Guys,

Here is a hard to find Marlin lever gun. This is a 20 year old Marlin 1894 "Classic" in 32-20. This gun is part of the first run they made with the uncheckered wood and hard rubber buttplate. This gun has a ballard rifled barel and the safety- like all post 1984 Marlin levers. The action on this rifle is SMOOTH - it does not feel like the more recent Marlin 1984s that have a handfull of sand thrown in the action,LOL.

I have owned this rifle for several years , but the rifle is in nearly new condition. The metal is 99% to mint and the wood is 100 percent finish- no cracks or problems, just a few very small storage nicks here and there. The wood is nice and dark with good color -a notch above most Marlin wood. Also, the wood to metal fit is better than the later guns.

As it is, this may be the ultimiate "woods loafing rifle". The gun weighs 6.5 lbs and has a 20" barrel. The sights are a Williams 5D rear peep intstalled in the factory holes along with a Custom blue steel Patridge ront sight. The rear sight has been removed and a blued steel filler block installed.

The last pic shows the sight picture with the aperture installed. Quick, precise- all business. It is a very elegant package for a 32-20 lover.

My price is $595 SHIPPED conus to any dealer that accepts deliveries from individuals.

The price is firm- cash only- no trades. Any questions you might have, please direct them to me via PM.
