My guess is 1963-1964.
It might just be the lighting, but is the bluing significantly worn on the bolt knob? Any idea how many rounds fired,,, approx?
Some bluing wear on bolt knob. No idea how many rounds fired.

The left side of the barrel has numbers 64 stamped close to the receiver. The right side of the barrel near where REP is stamped is a "k" stamped.

If it has the "flat knob" safety, 1962-63, maybe into early 64?.......

I love those early safety levers--have one on my SS Mtn rifle.

Remington Year of Manufacture Codes maybe found on the barrel of your Remington rifle [or shotgun] on the left side, just forward of the receiver; the first letter of the Code is the month of manufacture, followed by one or two letters which are the year of manufacture. For shotguns with removeable barrels, the code will be valid for the manufacture of the barrel; maybe for the receiver, as barrels do get switched around.

According to the "Blue Book of Gun Values", the coding continues as follows:

Older the better bump, no lie.
If I come by some cash we'll be talking. I searched high and low until I came across one of these in 243Win just like the ole man use to have. His Standard BDL would drill dimes at 100 yds just by free floating the barrel and doing a tad of hand loading. The one I picked up does the same. The o6s will easily do 3/4 with very minor tweaking and yes the OLDER THE BETTER even with those EVIL triggers.
