These boots are a couple of months old and I've probably worn them a couple times a week on average. I haven't yet oiled them, but they're ready now for their first oiling. That gives you the chance to get them started how you want. They're broken in some, but the leather on these is soft enough and the internal padding is such that you won't have a problem with them fitting your feet. I've done the hard part for you.

Some folks swear by these boots. I just don't find them satisfactory, particularly when I'm comparing them with my heavy duty norwegian welt Asolo Yukons.
