Matte finish.This scope has never had a round fired under it. It has been mounted twice. The guy I got it from had it on an AR and sold the gun before he shot it and I picked it up from him and had it mounted on my model seven but found a XVIII 2.5-8 with an elevation turret before I got a chance to shoot it.It has some very light ring marks but no dents and is in perfect shape.The second pic is trying to show the ring marks.
