Yes, I tried this about a yr ago and did get one reply. But my two .257 just love the Wthby factory 115g Barnes X. If any of you .257 wthby guys have any just sitting in that closet...PLEASE let me know. I will buy or trade!!! I prefer this sooo much over the 100 grain TSX for the energy at longer range. And besides, my guns LOVE it. They love the NBTs too, but for some things i just need that stouter bullet!!!

Thanks for any leads.

(i do know corbon makes a load like this, but i much prefer the wthby factory load).

There's this wonderful new option called "handloading".

Just a thought.
Handloading is especially appealing where rare or expensive ammo is concerned.

If you have to have factory ammo, you'll probably have to switch over to the 120gr Barnes Triple Shock bullet. You can have almost any dealer order it for you, or buy online. The part number is B7MM120TTSX.

Thanks fellas. Yeah, handloading is something my brother did for years and i just never really got into it. With how todays ammo shooots, it was hard to beat it in most rifles. But yes, for THIS load, it would be an option. I am hoping some 257 owner has some of the discontiued stuff and will part with it.

Nice chatting with you jmssi.

TTT...anybody else?!
Another option that may be easier. Do you have a friend close that already reloads? Soneone you live close to that is on here? Ask your gunsmith.
