This mount and scope came on a 99EG S/N 584XXX series I bought earlier in the summer. The rifle is factory D&T so I think I'm going to use a conventional mount and just mount a good vintage scope.

Issues:

1. The Weaver scope has a rear lens which is cloudy, either fungus or separated - I'm not quite sure what, so it needs work.

2. The rear ring has a screw that was over-tightened, and the little internal hex is wallowed out and so the screw is stuck. It will probably need to be drilled out and replaced.

Because of the stuck ring, covering the engraving on the scope, I can only tell you it says made in El Paso.













I'd like to get $200 for the scope & mount. I'd also be open to a trade for a clean Lyman, Unertl, or Kollmorgen scope of early 50's vintage - 1" tube, 4 to 6 power. Might kick in or want cash, depending on what you have.
