Good afternoon gentlemen.
I have a Howa 1500 bolt action rifle in .204 Ruger for sale. This rifle is in pristine condition.
I purchased the barreled action a few years back and it already had the Timney trigger set to three pounds. I was told the rifle has had less than 20 rounds through it and I can believe it. Very, very light indications of firing on the bolt face. I have not fired it.
I purchased the stock a few months ago. It is a Boyd's classic walnut. It dropped right in and fit the action surprising well. I have not bedded the rifle.
The specs of the rifle are as follows:
- Howa 1500 in .204 Ruger
- This is a "BDL style" Howa, it has a hinged floorplate.
- Boyd's classic walnut stock
- 22" barrel length, Howa's sporter contour (a touch larger than Remington's sporter; approximately 0.62" at muzzle)
- Timney trigger set to about 3 pounds (nice and smooth)
- weighs approximately 8 pounds, 12 ounces with Talleys and a 3-9x42 Sightron Big Sky so figure maybe 7 pounds, 10 or 11 ounces or so bare.
This rifle is a looker and is in fantastic condition. I can find very, very minor tick marks on the stock that are so small you have to search for them in the right lighting. They are not coming close to showing up in photos.
I will include the Talley Lightweight lows in with the rifle. Scope is not included.
I will ship and insure this rifle in a rifle box, heavily padded for $595.
Please PM me with anything I have left off. Timestamp via PM or on this thread gets the rifle.
Thanks for looking.
