Hate to do this but.............

Remington 760 in 300 Savage, second year production, 1955 IIRC, in 300 Savage with correct mag, marked 300 Sav. Crazy good wood! When I got the gun the stocks were badly in need of a face lift so I gave them a fill hand rubbed oil finsh with a satin poly top coat. Gun has no rust but the blue shows honest even wear, action is butter smooth and this gun will shoot, see pic. Shoots factory Rem ammo dam near as well.

525 shipped CONUS for the gun with rings and bases
725 shipped CONUS as seen with Leupold 2x7x28

Would you consider a trade and cash to boot for the rifle with base and rings? I have a Remington Model 740 (circa 1952 if I remember my barrel codes correctly) in .30-06 that has a sweet trigger and would make a nice project gun. Needs bluing. I'd go something like: the 740 and $275; we'd both ship our own. (My FFL will accept your shipment from you.) If you're at all interested, I can send pix of the 740. Thanks. John
Thanks John. Im open to trades just not 740's. Feel free to shoot me a pm with a cash offer.

Thanks!

Man, that's a beautiful old pumper. 'Can't imagine the Pennsylvania boys are letting this one go by the wayside. I bet there's some great stories behind that classic old rifle.
