Looking to sell my custom Remington 700 6x45 (6mm/223) The rifle is built off a CM SA action, which has been squared and bolt lapped. The bolt has a PTG knob installed, and has been Ti fluted by Twisted Barrel. Holland lug. The barrel is a SS Benchmark #2 1:9 twist at 22". The magaine box has been modified to accomodate longer COAL rounds. The action, bolt and BDL bottom metal have been coated in matte black Moly Resin. The action has been pillar bedded into the stock with devcon. The bottom metal has also been bedded to the stock. The rifle with come with a professionally tuned old-style rem trigger.

The stock is a Bansner Sheep Hunter model, which has been finished in a textured grey with black splatter duracoat finish. 13.5" LOP with a 1/2" decelerator pad. The stock has 2 sling studs. Additionally, 2 flush cups are installed on the left side.

The rifle has approximately 200 rounds through it, almost solely 85 SGKs. Performance has been around 1" so far, but I haven't done any intesive load development for it yet either.

Included with the rifle are all the brass I have for it (all the once-fired brass from loads so far, in addition to approximately 50 brass primed with Wold SRM primers). All brass is Lake City.

I will also include a custom reloading gauge made from a section of the original barrel blank with the chamber reamer run into it so that land engagement can be easily determined.

The scope, rings and bipod are not included. However, a deal could be worked out to include the scope and rings, but they will not be sold seperately unless the rifle sells first. The scope is a Leupold Mark 4 PR 3.5-10x40, 1" with duplex reticle and target turrets.

I also have about 6-700 75 VMAXs that could be worked out as part of the deal, but are not included.

The only trades under consideration would be
Leupold VX3 4.5-14x40 LR (30mm) scopes
Mcmillan Hunters Edge for a Rem 700 SA RH

$1200 shipped

Tempting....but I will have to refrain from saying the magic words. Saving money for an AR15 platform in 6.5grendel.
You know, I am not sure. I sold a twin to this stock a few weeks ago. The bare stock weighed 23.9 ounces. I assume this stock is nearly identical. As for the all-up weight, I have not measured it. Light it is, and very handy

That is a really, really nice rifle -

You're gonna regret it -

What is the box max length with your mods?
I haven't measured this one, but you should get around 2.5"

That will not limit bullet selection much at all then -

Again, nice rifle -
Very nice & great cartridge too.

Somebody's gonna be happy.
Any idea if this would handle the 105 A Max's?
The twist is right, but I am unsure if there would be enough velocity.
