Estate sale:

For sale: an early production, Italian (Beretta) made Weatherby Mark XXII semi-auto 22LR with the original Weatherby Mark XXII 4x28 scope with duplex reticle(even though it's marked 4x50). Manuf between 1964 and 1971. Clip/mag fed, 10-rd, skip-line checkered walnut stock with very nice figure. Rosewood forend and grip cap with Weatherby trademark white diamond. 24" barrel, open V rear fold down rear sight, grooved alloy receiver. Has a right side lever that allows changing from semi-auto to single shot.

Rifle has been shot considerably. Metal = 98% with a few barely noticeable "leaning" marks against the bottom of the barrel. Wood has typical dings and mars but their is a 1" vertical gouge approx 1" forward of the left side upper butt. A good refinish will take care of all the dings and mars. The gouge, I don't know; maybe. So about 80% on the wood. The scope has a few dings on the obj bell.

Rifle = $325
Scope = $75
Italian = add 5% = $16

Total = $416

I will ship for free if asking price is agreed upon. Insurance and tracking is extra and responsibility of buyer. I prefer USPS money orders but am willing to accept personal or cashiers check. If either check is sent I will refrain from shipping until my bank verifies funds.

Thanks for looking.

Alan
