Going to check Gunbroker at some point, but can't access from work and waiting for internet install at new home. In the meantime, anyone have some price ranges for a Remington 1100 12 gauge Skeet model (26" barrel, fixed skeet choke) with a 30" full choke (trap) barrel and the same in 20 gauge but with no extra barrel? I haven't been able to inspect them closely, but believe that they are overall in good condition with a pretty low round count. The 20 is not the LW model. They are probably from the late 70s, early 80s. Thanks.

i sold a beautiful one in 20ga for $550 at a gunshow, but it was a later one with screw-ins.

probably a little cheap, but i tried to get more for an hour or so, with a LOT of lookers.

Thanks. My understanding was that the skeet models had slightly upgraded wood, so I thought they might bring a bit more than a field model. On the other hand, I didn't know how much demand there would be for a non LT 20 gauge without Rem-chokes. Once I get them in hand, I'll be able to do a better assessment for pricing. They are a nice matched set though.

A standard weight 20 gauge would have been made prior to the mid 70's. There was no difference in wood on an A grade skeet gun. Someone would probably pay a premium for a standard weight 20, but parts are getting hard to come by and 1100's do break a few parts. Still my favorite semi-auto though.

A standard weight 20 will have the same magazine tube diameter as a 12. An LW will have a short tang on the barrel. A "Skeet B" in a standard weight will have upgraded wood. If it doesn't say Skeet on the receiver it''s a field gun.

If the 12 gauge trap barrel has a step rib it's worth 150 or more. If it has a step rib and chokes it could be an overbore, made for a few years and sought after.

As with everything, prices have gone up. I sold a Tournament Skeet for 550 last year and wish I had it now.

Much depends on which models you have here, I won't hazard a price estimate without more info or some pics.

I just sold and bought a std 20 ga weight Skeet B, both really nice, and went for 700 each. The 12's are pretty common on line for 500 to 700 in great shape, add 100 for the extra tube.

Thanks again for all the info. I should see them soon and be able to figure out exactly what I'm dealing with. Definitely not a step rib barrel for the 12 gauge though.
