Would like to sell my Sako Forester in 22-250. This rifle is in good condition with a few scratches on the barrel and some handling bumps in the wood. The only scratches that go through the finish are right around the front sling stud and it looks like the sling swivels rubbed it for awhile. This is the most accurate 22-250 Ive owned, and Ive owned several. It will shoot tiny groups with my handloads using a 50gr NBT. The scope is a Weaver V-16 with a duplex reticle, and can be had for an additional $200. Rifle with rings is $750.

Went out a few minutes ago while its still calm out and shot these two 3 shot groups. The one on the right is the best group Ive ever shot with anything! The one on the left is more typical of what this rig can do when Im having a good day. Im really second guessing selling this now but I need the funds to get Mr. Coleman to do a build for me.

Those are really nice groups if that is 100 yards. Too bad it's not a 1-12 twist. frown

Thanks Coyotejunki, that was at 100. As far as the twist Im not sure but can check if need be.

Good for you RRA!
I know the feeling. I have a couple Sako's that I have been thinking about selling but can't bring myself to post them....yet.

I sold my Sako 22PPC varmint and regretted it ever since. A year later I emailed the guy and asked to buy it back with a profit.

He never answered.

The Sako was sold to fund a Clay Spencer build.
