Really nice Remington Model 8, Manufactured June, 1927. Great shape for a rifle that's almost 90. I've omitted the pics from the main part of the barrel shroud because they didn't show up well. I'll just say the pics of the rest of the rifle indicate what you can expect to see.

The leather case is redhead brand made specifically for the 8 and 81 models. Condition of the case is quite good. The carry strap was in very poor condition so I replaced it with a German leather FAL sling. I'll send the buyer 11 rds of remington ammo (separate from the rifle of course).

I'm with passport...I have absolutely no real use for this rifle, but the cool factor with leather case is out of the park!

I have one just like it and one in 25 Rem. also. Very nice ! They came in 25, 30, 32 and 35 Remington.

Very Cool !!! Texas Ranger Frank Hamer used a model 8 Remington in .35 caliber to take out Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, and their 1934 Ford.

These are really nifty rifles, the first semi-auto centerfire rifle that was really practical in America. I bought a .35 in similar shape a couple years ago--but would love to have that case to keep it in!
