I've got a nice Ruger M77 Mark II chambered in .223 Remington for sale.

This rifle has a stainless barrel and black Zytel "Skeleton" stock.

The original inserts in the stock have been removed and replaced with a set of hand made wooden inserts - I believe they were carved from Cherry, but do not hold me to that. The lettering on the receiver has been filled in with red coloring, I do not know what was used to fill these letters with and I do not know if it will come off or not.

The barrel is 22" and the gun weighs 7 pounds, 9.5 ounces on my scale. The trigger has been lightened up and has an "extender" - see pictures.

Everything is in really good condition, but there is some discoloration on the floor plate - which is common with these guns.

Ruger rings included, but I do not have a box, paperwork, etc. What you see is what you get.

These skeleton stock rifles have really increased in value in the past two years...

$700 shipped from an individual to your FFL... add $25 for FFL to FFL shipping.

I forgot to mention that it has a stud added to attach a bipod:

Unique. I am under the impression that Ruger triggers are not adjustable. ??
I am not positive if it is the factory trigger that has been worked or an aftermarket, the only thing that I can be sure of is that it is much lighter than any m77 that I have ever owned.
Looks like a standard trigger under the trigger shoe but only way to tell is to remove the shoe and pull the rifle out of the action. How does it group?

Hey BTW just having fun here after that pacer picture post.
Gotta admit though they are a match.
Can you recheck the weight? I didn't think they were that heavy.

I've only shot Remington UMC 55 grain JHP's through it and it did reasonable. I never mic'd a 5 shot group but 1"-1.25" and closer if I remember correctly.

SOLD

Thanks to everyone who offered advice, both positive and critical.

^^^If I had that pacer I would have kept the rifle, I agree they would make a great pair.
Still for sale ?
