I like that check piece...nice setup
Yar, nice stuff, fun toys.
Whats a 7x39? Is it a wildcat cartridge?
Nice looking rifle.
yeah a wildcat....More like a typo 7.62x39
nice rifle. isn't is a 7.62x39?
dave
Agreed. Just not right to sell off all the toys in the dead of winter when we're broke!!!
Put this together as short to medium range whitetail stalking gun . The 7.62 x 39 is well suited to this task when loaded with the right bullets. The gun is quick to point and easy too focus on running target with the 3 x post and cross hair.
This gun is unhunted. I bought it new as a project. Anyone familiar with these rifles know that the stocks are not finish very nice,so I set out to improve on it. The bolts tend to bind a little when operated fast. My smith worked magic on the bolt and trigger and they are very nice now. I set out to improve on what was a good rifle that just need tweaking to make a great little rifle.
It's not a super lightweight 7 3/4 lbs. I was going to lighten out the butt stock but I fear it make it front heavy
Thats the weight with scope
The walnut is very dense and floor plate and trigger guard are milled steel both lending too the weight
I have a Ruger No.3 in .30-40 and a 1952 Marlin ADL .30-30. Care to do any swapping?
Do you have a price for the gun without the scope?
stupip question but could this be rechambered to 308 winchester?
No I think the action would be to short.
595.00 shipped without scope
I want this thing but spent my play money already on the 22 hornet that showed up the other day..
Sweet little rifle Glad it's not left handed. Those mini mausers are great for carrying and quick shooting in the woods.
Hearts will be broken when this one sells.
Still looking the move this rifle?? Sent offer email yesterday.
If it didn't get to you, please let me know.
If you still have the rifle I want it.
