I picked up this really nice, clean Bushnell ScopeChief VI 3-9X38 WA a week or so ago. The exterior and optics are in excellent condition, except it is missing the little screw that holds down the BDC dial. I already know that Bushnell does not stock parts for these older scopes. Anyone know where I might find one?

Go to a machine shop,they can duplicate the other screw.

You'll have to pull the plastic bit that looks like its left in there. These come up on e-bay once in while, Gun Broker as well. Keep looking, you'll find one.

go to an auto parts store, look for the plastic body feather push pins, should work for you.

Thanks, guys. A gentleman from IL pm'd me -- he bought a bunch of those screws years ago -- believe it or not! I have one coming my way.

the same little plastic screw just broke on my scopechief vi as well. any chance you have a part number, or the contact info of the gentleman who helped you out?
