I bought this used from a LGS back in 2002 and it mostly just sits and I could use the money for other things, so...Made in 1988 as per Remingtons info, 24" sporter bbl, 12" twist, no sights, thinly bedded and lightly free floated, was like that when I bought it. I put the old style safety on it that locks the bolt handle down and will include the original safety with it.

Once in a while the striker wouldn't cock when the bolt was operated so I completely disassembled the trigger (I'm no stranger to M700's) and thoroughly cleaned all the crap out of it and no problems since and that was a couple years ago. She's good to go, NO issues. I've shot numerous sub .75" groups with Hornady 50 or 55 grain V-Max bullets. Can't find the load data right now.

I bought the scope new around the same time (2002) it's the Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12X with A.O. and standard duplex style reticle in Weaver bases with Warne non-quick release rings. Lens covers included. Scope is like new.

Rifle has one little ding on bbl and stock has weird, discolored spot near bolt handle where REM puts that little brass reinforcing pin through the stock, but you can't really feel it, and a small chip out around the rear swivel stud.

I have a bit of handloading stuff but want to sell the rifle first. Might make a package deal.

$750 shipped from NON FFL (me) to your FFL.

I've bought and sold here for a couple years with no complaints either way.

First "I'll take it" here followed by a prompt PM gets it. Just need cash so no trade offers please. Thanks.
