**SOLD** Winchester 70 Classic Stainless Fwt 270 Win New Haven, CT

For sale, a New Haven Classic Stainless 270 Win Fwt (22" barrel). This one has a 1996 serial number.

Feeds and extracts flawlessly. Holds 5 rounds down. Metal is super clean, with the usual light handling marks, Tupperware factory stock has some scratches and "diggers" on it and isn't as clean as the metal.

I went through the rifle thoroughly, de-greased and cleaned the bolt, etc. I also had my smith put a fresh crown on it and I put Talley Lwt X-Lows on top (included). I haven't shot the rifle so don't know what it will do, but based on other Classic SS 270's I've had, it should perform well.

There's really little wear on the bolt raceways... looking at it I'd judge it was shot very little.

I have more in it than I am selling it for so price is firm... these are getting HARD to find.
