Clean honest 66 year old gun. Original finish on wood and beautiful... proper patina on steel.

3" chambers... I am thinking chokes are M & F after shooting her about 60 times today. Double triggers.

I have a worn out Stevens 12 Ga single shot I'd maybe think about trading for it. Maybe. Not sure. Probably, but maybe not. I don't know.

Values are all over the map on these... I had only thrown her up here in case someone might want and had an old shoulder bruiser double they no longer wanted... couldn't shoot... or whatever. I did say I had plenty of cash to add for the right trade... i.e. you have a double rifle in .458L and need $3k added... we would have gone from there.

I also didn't realize I would catch such a sharp edge from such a pack of "Savage 99s" type fellas.

I reckon these sold for under a $100 new in 1949...

Same with many Colts in the 40s... and Thompsons in the 20s.

I opened this thread because I have an interest in these guns and I saw you had posted it. I thought to myself "I don't think I've seen him post in awhile. He usually has some interesting stuff."

I don't have an issue with your post. I am more annoyed by the guys that post a pair of boots for sale but don't put the size in the title... Anyway, I am sorry you got a ration of schit for your efforts here.

I have a 311 in 410. It is not for sale, but if it were, I would not take less than $600 for it.
