I think that we should have a auction for ultra mag brass on here, just to see how much people are willing to pay for them, sounds like a lot of fun. Ok the price is way up on them now, so remington can start to make them again, since they make the rifle. What do you think? laugh

375 RUM?
Posted By: gemby58 Re: auction ultra mag brass - 02/10/16
Got some 338 but no 375. Food for thought guys, I asked the Remington rep at the sport show when Remington unprimed cases where going to make it to the shelves. His answer is that it's bad for bussiness to sell reloading brass when they can sell and can't keep up with demands for loaded ammo.

I have a about two hundred new 338 RUM at this time. I don't think I wish to sell them, the thought is on the back burner. If I re-barrel that action.

You all have fun with this.
I think that if Remington quit selling brass that someone else will sell more of it, like norma, hornady, nosler that sees that they can make money on it. I think that there rifle sales might take a hit on this, reloaders want what shoots the best for them for target or hunting, all of our guns won't shoot there factory ammo the way we want them to. So if they want you to buy there ammo just for the cases, buy nosler it would be cheaper and is better quality, Almost sound like what happen with the primers & the 22 shells!
Gemby58 put some out for bid. I"ll start it $1.00 each, Do I hear $1.25?

How about the 300 pieces of new unprimed 300 RUM remy that sold on Long range about a month ago for I think it was 150.. I about broke a creosote telephone pole over my head when I saw I missed that deal.

The 300 ultra brass I have are not for sale guys, I have over 1500 new brass and three 338 Edge rifles that this brass is for, started out with 2500 cases, so going to hang onto it.
Cabela's has new Nosler 338 ultra brass a little over $2.00 a piece

I found a box of Remington 300 RUM at a local hardware store for $42.99.
I'm not sure if it is worth it with the cost of shipping, but if anybody wants these let me know and I'll pick'em up for you.
