Beautiful custom 1949 Winchester model 70 in the wonderful .35 Whelen. Amazing custom stock (bear paw inletted where the front swivel would be). 24 inch unknown maker barrel, properly marked, 1 in 14" twist. Barrel band swivel. Pachmayr decelerator pad. Lyman 48 (I think?) rear peep sight and ramp front sight. Nice matte blue which is perfect except for some wear on the bolt. $1700 shipped from C&R to C&R or FFL.

Forgot to mention that it has a palm swell on the right side of the pistol grip. Very comfortable stock. Muzzle diameter is .670 and LOP is 13.5 inches. I don't have the means of getting an accurate weight, but am guessing it's about 8 pounds. Definitely not a lightweight.

Very nice rifle!
Beautiful stock! Rifle is in great shape!!!
Nice !
Holy [bleep]....awesome!
Beautiful rifle, sir.
Yep, that's nice.
I have not shot the rifle, but I did mount a scope on it. If you take the insert out of the peep, leaving a ghost ring, and lower the slide all the way down, a Leupold 3-9 in medium Leupold rings fits perfectly with the slide still in place. Can't vouch for any other scope and ring combination.
wow!
Beautiful
Wow!
That is a beautiful piece of wood. I wonder if I could scrape up the money for a rifle I would truly like to own! confused
Well, anyway!

That bear paw is pretty cool.
That is a nicely done stock. Too bad we can't get McMillan to copy it.
Looks like some fine gun porn to me...
