The Remington Classic is an exact factory duplicate. It can be used with both the long and short 700, 721, 722, 788 and 40X actions. This stock is available for ADL (blind magazine) or BDL (hinged floorplate) and as a single shot using an ADL trigger guard. It will accommodate up to and including a #5 barrel contour. Available in right and left hand.

The short action is still available and it will fit a Rem Magnum contour, which is what I am pretty sure you have.
