I could use a value estimate for a Remington 700 BDL in .284 Winchester. This is an older one, with the nice wood stock.
I appreciate any help.
Thanks

284 or 264?
I don't think the 700 was ever factory chambered in 284 Winchester
Never saw one, but I'd like too. Post some pics please. I remember seeing an newer style syn adl in 284 for sale a yr or so ago. What does the serial number start with?
I am interested and would like some pictures. I have never seen a BDL Remington in that caliber. 264 but not 284. [email protected].

You're correct, Remington has never cataloged a rifle chambered for the 284 Win. There are a few 700s in 284 that have rechambered 7mm-08 barrels, 1 of them reside at my house.
Thanks for all the assistance.
Rifle turns out to be a rechambered 7mm-08 made in April of 1981, if I have the codes right.
Serial number starts with a B....
If you decide to buy it, do yourself a favor and replace the 7mm-08 follower with a WSM/SAUM follower to get smoother feeding.
Value on a rechambered gun like that is hard to guess. If it's any help I recently sold an older BDL in mint condition here on the fire for $525 plus shipping. It was a 30/06.
