No, it is all orange. The lighting makes it look faded and it is not at all. The vest is bright blaze orange. Small blood stain on left side mesh in first picture.

Idk, I wouldn't think it would be too large. I am 5'9 180, 32 waist and this fits me great. I think this is the smallest size they make.
