Purchased this handmade knife from an Alaskan Native gentleman this summer. Stainless blade with polished Caribou horn handle. Not sure of the sheath material but appears to be some type of skin (caribou, moose???). Sharp as heck. Slipped out of sheath and I tried to catch it and almost cut my finger off!! This is a one of a kind knife for your collection or for use as a hunting man's knife. Asking $60 shipped.

10 inches OAL and 5 inch blade.

any idea on the metal composition and Rockwell hardness?
also from the angle of the picture, it looks to me that this could be a convex edge, could you confirm.
