What is best and cheapest way to ship a handgun legally?

Go to Gunbroker.com, and use their link for FFL's in your area. It will give you their price to ship a revolver/rifle. Simple. and you will find the least expensive FFL in your area. Do a little research, and you can weed out the bad ones! Good luck. Normally $25-35.

Thanks for the link and answers. I bought a pistol on gunbroker, seller listed $10 shipping. Sent message that he had to send UPS overnight air for $59+.

So he ate the extra $49, right?

I would expect so too. Don't play those games. If the ad stated $10 I wouldn't pay a cent more.

I figured that was all on him. I paid my bid price + his stated shipping cost. He actually had already shipped and admitted he screwed up.

Sounds like a square shooter.
